Online participation in the competition is also available for those who can't travel to Belgium.


All participants must prepare a short video for preselection.

Registration details ? Participants who wish to register for the competition are required to (see Rules):

  • complete the online registration form (see on top of the page).

  • Send a copy of valid ID.

  • Send a picture of themselves for the competition's catalog (artistic pictures accepted).

  • pay the registration fee.

  • meet deadlines.

Music styles*In solo or in groups ; classical, jazz, folk, pop, rock, world music, improvisation (in the styles mentionned previously).

*Some specificities may apply depending on your style of music (see Art.24.bis.)

Program ? Own choice program of a maximum duration of 15 (fifteen) minutes and three works maximum.

For whom ? All amateur musicians internationally without age limit:

  • who are not enrolled in full musical studies in a institution of higher education for the discipline represented.

  • who have not completed full musical studies in a institution of higher education for the discipline represented.

  • who don't make a living as a musician.

  • mainly students who take lessons in music schools, in non-profit organizations or private.

Groups can be accompanied or conducted by one or more professional musicians at a maximum of 1/3 of the group members.

Registration fee ?

Solo : 50€ in total (20 €application fee/project + 30€/participation fee)

Groups : 20€ application fee/project + 30€/participant

Groups of 9 participants and more : 290€/ single fee for the entire group

Prizes ? Recording sessions in a professional studio, appearance on the competition's CD, performance in concerts, photo shooting, diplomas, vouchers for musical material, honorary awards, etc.

  • Participation in one or more concert(s) in Belgium.

Guido Jardon (President of the Jury)


Conductor - Pianist – Trumpeter 

Guido Jardon is Director of “IMEP” (Higher School of Arts in Namur).
He holds the highest national distinction in classical music, namely the Virtuosity Prize of the Belgian Government with the highest distinction and the congratulations of the jury.
First winner of the International Competition of the European Musical Institute in Besançon, he also obtained the First Prize with the congratulations of the jury at the “Young Virtuosos” Competition in Antwerp.


He has created, arranged and directed the musical parts of many shows that were viewed by more than 70,000 spectators.


Eric Bettens

Composer - Keyboardist

Eric Bettens is a Belgian artist, passionate about this music which punctuates his life from an early age. Today, in addition to the composition of instrumental, orchestral works and film music, he combines electronic and acoustic instruments with sounds from the nature to compose eclectic and original works which have received numerous prestigious awards.


Johan Dupont


Pianist – Composer - Direction

Born in Liège in 1984, Johan Dupont comes from a family of musicians. In 2009, he finished his studies at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Liège, in the piano class of Chantal Bohets. Since then, Johan Dupont has evolved in many different musical projects with which he has notably performed at the jazz festival in Liège, the Gaume jazz festival, the jazz festival in Gouvy, the Musiq3 festival in Flagey, the jazz festival in Maastricht , at the Brussels Jazz marathon, etc.


He is also in great demand for solo performances, has recently worked with the Orchester des Flandres and has performed as a solo pianist in the most prestigious halls of the kingdom.


Rhonny Ventat


Saxophonist – Composer

After appearing alongside the greatest personalities in show business (Gilbert Montagné, Sacha Distel, The Magic Platters, Julien Clerc, Francis Lalanne, David Hallyday, Garou, Tina Arena, William Sheller for his tours in 2000 and 2005, ...) and having performed as a soloist with the biggest names and the greatest national and international orchestras, Rhonny now devotes himself to his own projects. Classical, Jazz, Funk, Blues, House music, world music and personal compositions are now part of his daily life.

Rhonny is also a saxophone teacher at IMEP.


Françoise Viatour



If the voice is the mirror of the soul, Françoise Viatour sings as she is: open to the world, warm, colorful, sensitive and touching. Her charisma and talent allowed her to sing on the most beautiful stages in Europe and Asia.

A curious woman, in perpetual research, always questioned, refining a real quality of listening, in the manner of artisans, she is also a teacher of lyric art singing at the Higher Institute of Music and Pedagogy in Namur.


Her devotion for teaching brings her students to the highest level.
